A small number of children in a class allows our teachers to create close relationship with each child, helping our teachers pin point our children's strengths and weaknesses.

Language Classes

At Alpine Language camp we are using the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages as a basis for our language programme and therefore our courses range from Beginner (A1)up to advanced  (C1). A camper’s level will be determined through an initial phone call with parents and/or child to discuss followed with a variety of carefully planned, informal (very important to us, making sure our campers feel no pressure at the beginning of the week), written and oral tests conducted on the first morning of camp.

Classes are in groups of 2-4. The small number of children in a class allows our teachers to create close relationship with each child, helping our teachers pin point our children’s strengths and weaknesses.

The Language Programme

Our language programmes include 18 hours per week session, French language tuition. Our first 1.5 hour of French will be classroom based with the second 1.5 hour French lesson being creative and interactive learning.

At the end of each camp session children are presented with a medal and certificate showing their level in French.
